Gitchigumi
While driving along Lake Superior, enroute to Copper Harbor at the northern-most tip of Upper Michigan in the Keweenaw Peninsula, I stopped to capture this shot of the largest fresh water lake in the world. The Native Americans call this greatest of the lakes Gitchigumi.
I love photography and I've devoted all of my time photographing the wonders of Upper and Lower Michigan. Come and join me as I capture my digital memories of Michigan.
