A lone Canadian goose stares down toward a flock of Canadian geese landing toward the southern end of Hathaway Pond on the southwest side of Greenville, Michigan (Montcalm County). I used my Canon EOS 40D camera body with a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 USM lens mounted on my Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod. I also had no filters mounted on this lens. A Canon ET83II lens hood finished off the combo.
